In the meantime, here is out 2021 Jeep Gladiator Review and four things you can expect if you purchase one.
Things to Like
There is a lot to like about the Jeep Gladiator. Our top favorite things to like about this ride are the fact that it can drive over about anything, it has loads of personality, the top comes completely off, it comes with Wrangler styling, and it's not bad on fuel.
Engine & Performance
When you get to the Jeep Gladiator's performance, you'll notice there are two engines now out for 2021. The standard engine is a 3.6-liter V-6 that delivers 285 hp and makes 260 lb.-ft. of torque. The new engine that came out is a 3.0-liter turbodiesel V-6 that brings 260 hp and 442 lb.-ft. of torque. Another performance benefit is the towing ability, which maxes out at 7,650 pounds with the Sport trim level.
Style
It's a Jeep and a pickup truck all bundled up in one package you can't resist. It makes the Jeep Gladiator both functional and stylish. Its rugged capabilities make it a great choice for off-roading, while the various bed configurations allow for hauling the different size loads you need. Add the four-door style for all your passengers, and you are ready to roll!
Comfort
The wheelbase is lengthened on the 2021 Gladiator, so your passengers will have extra legroom. It is also decent in the height area, giving taller passengers the room they need to be comfortable. However, the Gladiator is quite a step-up, so it could prove a challenge for children or shorter people. The Mojave and Rubicon trims have larger tires, creating an even higher step up.
Safety
The NHTSA has not completed all of its crash test scores for the Gladiator yet, but what it did receive a four-star rating for front crashes. The standard safety features are limited, with a rearview camera and four airbags. However, you can add a safety package and get all the upgraded safety technology you would expect in 2021.
