Seattle Seahawks running back, Marshawn Lynch, has recently announced his retirement from the NFL. If you missed it, Lynch surprised fans during the fourth quarter of the most recent Super Bowl game when he tweeted out a photo of cleats hanging up with a peace-sign emoji.
Lynch was originally a first-round draft pick by the Buffalo Bills in 2007, but his career really took off after a trade to Seattle in 2010. Under the Seahawks offense, "Beast Mode" became a driving force for Seattle's offense, as Marshawn Lynch helped the team win Super Bowl XLVIII in 2014 and was named to five Pro Bowls.
Now that he is retired, he has been an extremely busy man outside of football.
The all-star running back has been raising awareness for his Fam 1st Family Foundation, which aims to improves the lives of children by mentoring them on the importance of literacy, education, and self-confidence. To support his foundation, Lynch announced a partnership with eBay to auction his Beast Mode Jeep Wranglers and many other signed pieces of memorabilia for charity.
What does Lynch's Wranglers entail? They are the 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport models. Additional parts were added to include traits of Beast Mode to improve the Wranglers performance and appearance.
A 4-inch Elite long-arm suspension was added with Fox shocks to improve the driving performance, as well making room for 37-inch tires wrapped around the wheels. In addition, Mopar Dana 44 axles with 4.88 gears and electric lockers were added to make driving through obstacles easier.
On the outside, a Wildboar fastback hardtop, a heat reduction hood, custom grille inserts, and green LED lights were all installed. The front fascia has "BEAST MODE" in bright letters.
Beast Mode did not forget about the interior. There are custom leather seats with the Beast Mode logo, and Marshawn's signature all over the seats. A 9-inch Alpine display was also installed for pumping music through the Focal Speakers and JBL subwoofer for the long drive.
The Beast Mode Jeep Wranglers were designed by the Custom & Performance Vehicle Division at McLoughlin Chrysler Jeep in Portland, Oregon.
