Performance and Driveability
The new Wagoneer is powered by a 3.0L with six inline cylinders instead of the traditional “V” shape. This engine delivers an impressive 510 hp, 500 lb-ft of torque, and towing capacity of 4,286kg. Regarding fuel consumption, this SUV makes 5.9km/L in the city and 8km/L on the highway.
All trims come with eight-speed automatic transmission and a larger wheelbase compared to the previous versions. Four different suspension systems are available: Quadra-Lift, Quadra-Trac III, Quadra-Trac II, and Quadra-Trac I. Depending on the terrain and weather conditions, there are also five different driving modes.
Interior and Exterior Details
The new Wagoneer is as impressive inside as it is from the outside. Apart from its behemothic dimensions, it has fog lamps, LED headlamps, and a seven-slot grille. It uses 45.72cm alloy wheels, although 50.8cm and 55.88cm options are available. Carbide trims also come with gloss-black wheels, black onyx grille rings, and a panoramic sunroof.
It has 1,462.5cm length, 513.3cm in height, and 606.3cm in width. The interior of this line is as spacious as one would expect. All trims come with eight seats, three rows, and plenty of room for everyone. The second row has 108.4cm legroom, while the third has 92.9cm. Leather upholstery is also standard across the whole line, with the option for Nappa leather in the upper trims.
Tech and Safety Feature
The infotainment system packed into the new Wagoneer lives up to its luxury and fame. The Uconnect 5 system works with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an instrument cluster of 26cm, and a central touchscreen display of 25.65cm. There’s also a premium sound system with 19 speakers and adjustable lighting.
Drivers are treated with a wide range of driving assists, regardless of the trim level. Some of these include adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, blind-spot monitoring, parking assists, lane keeping and departure assists, and surround-view camera are just some of the standard features.
