2023 Chrysler 300

The Chrysler 300 lineup will be discontinued next year. Before it does, behold the 2023 Chrysler 300, already called the “Chrysler 300 swan song”. This is a limited edition model, with only 200 models released in the Canadian market, in addition to the 2,000 models offered in the American market. There was so much anticipation that the whole batch was sold in less than half an hour. Here’s what this farewell-bidding luxury sedan has to offer.

Performance and Drivability


There’s always a lot of expectation about luxury sedans signed by Chrysler, and this one lives up to the brand’s name. Basic trims come with a 3.6L V6 engine with 292 hp and a torque capacity of 260 lb-ft.

The 300C comes with a 6.4L HEMI V8 engine with 485 hp and 475 lb-ft of torque capacity. With this setup, the new 2023 Chrysler 300C runs about 6.8km/L in the city and 10.6km/L on highways. It also comes equipped with Brembo front brakes and adaptive suspension. All trims come with eight-speed automatic transmission.

Interior and Exterior


The 2023 version of this sedan isn’t much different than its 2022 lineup. It’s a massive vehicle, with 502.9cm of length, 190cm of width, a height of 149cm, and 305cm of wheelbase. There’s also plenty of internal space for all passengers. Exterior mirrors are heated and come with courtesy lamps.

Front seats have 106.1cm of legroom, 151cm of shoulder room, and 93.7cm of head space. Backseats have 101.8cm of legroom, 146.5cm of shoulder room, and 93.7cm of headspace. All seats come with leather upholstery, with metal and carbon fibre accents on the console. The dashboard is covered in rubberized plastic with a leather-grain texture across all trims.

Tech and Safety


The Chrysler 300’s so-called “swan song” wouldn’t come without a lavish array of tech and safety features. All the space and comfort of its interior design are topped with a 19-speaker Harmon Kardon sound system on higher trims. Basic trims come with a nine-speaker Alpine system. The infotainment system is controlled via a 21.33cm Uconnect touchscreen, with Uconnect NAV optional.

Other tech facilities include two LCD front monitors, SiriusXM, steering wheel controls, voice activation, Bluetooth connectivity, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi Hotspot, and more.

There’s also a considerably long list of driving assists, including cruise control, RSC (Roll Stability Control), ESC (Electronic Stability Control), traction and ABS controls, and airbags for all seats, including knee airbags for the driver’s seat. There’s also an option for SiriusXM Guardian Emergency SOS, among other safety features for all trims.
