2020 Jeep Wrangler Review: What's new for 2020?
Posted on May 19, 2020
The most beloved Jeep Wrangler is back for 2020 at Richmond Chrysler. And we have gathered up all the top features, design, technology and new trims or models to help you decide. (Please note, we're mostly just touching the standards and briefly on other trims)
Model Review (Specs): What's New?
The highlight for 2020 is the addition of the turbocharged 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 engine, which makes 260 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque. The engine will only be available on the Wrangler Unlimited with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The Sport and Rubicon models have added the standard start/stop functionality to all engines, and the gas V6 joins the turbo-four engine in getting the eTorque mild-hybrid system on the Sahara models. See the video below on how the start/stop functionality works.
Fuel Efficiency: What's New?
The 2020 Jeep Wrangler has impressive fuel efficiency and competitive ratings compared to its rivals. The chart below shows the difference between Standard and Unlimited models.
Conclusion: Why should we care?
The 2020 Jeep Wrangler line-up continues to be an all-capable SUV with brand new eco-friendly engines that will help you satisfy your adventure trips. If you're looking for a true adventure vehicle with the ability to remove doors or fold down the windshield, then the 2020 Jeep Wrangler is undoubtedly the vehicle for you.
